Photo from 1/10 (since I had planned to post last week!): working on a layout, with my new favorite storage containers to the right. I'm using one to keep my Ali Edwards stamp sets together and the other to hold stickers.

WOYWW 379: Disney Layouts

Hello and happy Wednesday to any virtual traveler arriving on my doorstep today. We're celebrating the once-weekly blog hop called What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday -- I'm sure you've heard of it, it's all the rage. 

Here's my table:

I've been working on my Disney album from last year's trip and I left my zillions of pictures from the parade until last. I likely will just make a pretty page with one or two photos and put the rest into divided page protectors. They'd make a great minibook, but I want everything together in the one album.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday 376

Dear WOYWW friends (check out the link if you're not already a participant!),

Please forgive the lack of actual desk picture today. Instead I'm featuring a picture from my living room television, which I've spent a lot more quality time with over the last week or so. 

But I have made some layouts. These are pretty simple, just to feature the photos mainly, from last year's Disney trip.

We're going back soon, which has definitely lit a fire under me to get the 2015 trip scrapped first -- ha, ha.

Happy Wednesday and happy What's on your Workdesk Wednesday, too. This picture is from last night and the only thing that has changed is that the letters on the left side of the desk awaiting gesso have been gessoed and have dried overnight. I bought these chipboard letters on sale years ago -- they're white with black newspaper text on top and I've found them difficult to use. I wanted white letters of a certain size for this layout and I think these will be great.

This card is for one of my nieces. I fashioned a pocket to hold bookmarks -- I made two of each design so she can share with her sister. 

This one is for my sister -- on the quick and simple side.

WOYWW 370: Back from Vacation

Continued thanks to Lunch Lady Jan who is serving as WOYWW caretaker & hostess for the weekly party. :-)

I've been away by the ocean for a week.

We arrived back home on Saturday & unpacked the car. Sunday we were invited to a neighbor's 4th of July party. Monday we thought ice cream would make a lovely lunch.

It's funny how going away -- and all the packing, unpacking, and laundry -- can temporarily put a damper on creative output. I did manage to make an anniversary card.

The sentiment stamp is new -- I only had a tiny one in a clear stamp set before. It will be great to have this on hand, even though it will only get used a few times a year.

WOYWW 364: The 7th Anniversary edition

Happy anniversary and happy What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday, fellow lovers of creativity! Thinking of the progenitor of WOYWW, Julia, today and saying thanks to Jan, who has taken over hostess duties for the time being. 

Here's my desk, in the midst of making a layout from a long ago trip to Maine. Journaling (as I wrote in a notebook at the time) will be added in extra page protectors, so this page is just for photos & title.

Happy Wednesday and happy WOYWW to all the creative souls who gather to link up and visit each other's creative spaces each and every week. There's no bouncer at the door -- join in with us! :-)

Here is a picture of my desk on Tuesday evening -- decided to take it while I still had some light.

I've got some papers and embellishments gathered to make a layout with a selfie picture. It's a challenge from a Facebook group I'm a member of called the Scrap Gals Community. Do any of you listen to that podcast? If you're a scrapbooker, I think you'd really like it. It's two best friends chatting about all things scrapbooking, one of whom is a teacher and the other is growing her own creative business. I'd suggest starting with some earlier episodes when they were first starting out, just to get to know the hosts. 

Did anyone participate in International Scrapbooking Day over the weekend? My previous post shows what I made.

It is Wednesday and time to show what's going on! Happy WOYWW, everybody. 

Here are pictures of my last evening's table, my happy mail of the day, and two more Christmas cards. I made a birthday card in January with almost this exact design and decided to duplicate it for Christmas cards. Now I'm just about out of that beautiful birchbark patterned paper, but I'm glad to have used it, as it's perfect. 

A quick post, as I need to be out the door to work!

Here's a view of my work table last evening -- so nice to have more daylight. This was about 7:30 in the evening. 

This is the layout I just completed. I wanted to use the pieces of paper that I had cut the swirling botanical designs out of and eagle-eyed visitors will notice that I stuck some of the fiddly remainders from the die-cutting session back into the design on the right side of the page. I thought it helped to bring the darker color from the left side onto the right side.

WOYWW 354: If it's messy, you know fun was had

Happy WOYWW to all who are visiting virtually today! Visit Julia's blog for more on this lovely Wednesday party.

Here is my table as it stands at bedtime Tuesday night. I took a wide shot and you can see all my mess. Could you avert your eyes from the messiest bits and look just at the nicer parts? Thanks! :-)

I bought one of the Tim Holtz mixed media die sets and am playing around with them. I plan to use these pieces on a layout soon.

My previous blog post shows my first March tag based on TH's inspiration, following his example more closely. But I made some extra tag toppers in the process, including the butterfly version (the closest I could match with punches instead of the Bigz die) and figured I'd go ahead and make another tag.
