This was my desk last night (Tuesday) when I decided to quit for the night. I've got small cards covered in patterned paper to the left, hedgehogs stamped on card stock just above -- that's the project in progress.
I made this over the weekend. I "painted" the circle with Blush Color Shine and don't adore the outcome, but it's ok.
I'm trying to make some Christmas cards throughout the year this year -- so far so good. I like the all silver better than the gold + silver, but both came out nicely with the doily stamp.
This may be the last time I put ink to this stamp. It's wood-mounted and for whatever reason I can never get it completely inked and/or completely stamped. Ah, well.
Thanks for visiting!

The doily stamp has come out beautifully! Lovely cards.
Happy Wednesday!

That doily stamp image has embossed well Laura, no infill at all. Try the gold on cream coloured stock, really brings out the warm of the colour...in my opinion! I like the finished card with the penguin...there they are in your card holders and they look great! I've had trouble with several of my detailed stamps..it may have release film stuck to it still. Try a dry eraser or fine energy board type sanding, it may well take ink like a good un after that.

Hey Laura!
I love all the images. Did you try the gold with a gold sentiment as well? That doily did stamp very clear. As to Santa, I have to ask.. are you applying stamp to ink pad or ink pad to stamp? sometimes that can make a difference. Also, if you use it in mixed media, a 'clear' image is not always best for a nice effect. If you do decide you still don't care for it. let me know and shoot me a price.
