Falling Leaves tag | Simon Says Stamp & Show blog challenge

I like to participate in the fun creative challenges at the Simon Says Stamp & Show blog. This week we're to look for inspiration in the world of leaves!

I decided to make a fall-inspired tag for a gift. I'd already sent my friend a card, but didn't want the package to be unadorned. (The horror!) So I thought this was perfect.

I have a Martha Stewart corner punch that makes the leaves; I punched them out of a patterned paper scrap. The tree and sentiment stamps are Hero Arts and the ink is Ranger Archival. The background of the tag was distressed using distress inks in Antique Linen, Frayed Burlap, Wild Honey, and Spiced Marmalade. 

I'm posting a picture from a different angle to show off the glorious shimmer from the Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls mist. Much lovelier in person.
