I've created a tag based on Tim Holtz's inspiration.
I have one of his leaf dies -- one that cuts out three types of leaves on one -- so you can see bits of the other two partial leaf cut-outs on the tag. I put the cut out pieces back in the "holes" while I misted, but unfortunately, the cardboard got so wet that it pulled away some of the brightly colored tag background. Oh, well. Tim used distress paint and got a very vibrant and more opaque look than I was able to get with inks and stains -- I haven't yet acquired any of the paints. I'd like to get the speckled stencil, too -- I attempted to use Dylusions spray but it covered too densely for the look I was going for . . . another learning experience. :-)
