The technique this month was to use your Distress ink pad to ink directly onto a stencil, then spray with water and press onto watercolor paper. The mini ink pads would be great for this, but I only have the full size ones, so used fewer colors than in Tim's tag. My tag on the left is more similar to Tim's than the other -- the butterfly stamp is one of his, but horizontal in orientation rather than verticial, and smaller in size. I decided to use a punched butterfly that was lying on my table and stamped over it with another Tim stamp. I really like the numbers & grid on there. On the red, white, and blue version the stars were die cut from Heidi Swapp Color Magic paper, then inked with distress ink.
