It's Tuesday evening as I type this -- I'll set it to post at 12:00 AM my time. It's a whopping 1 degree above zero Fahrenheit (which Google says is equivalent to -17.2222 Celsius.) We don't claim to be the coldest place in America, but it's cold nonetheless! I hope wherever you are that you're either (a) in balmy temperatures (folks Down Under, I'm looking at you!) or cozied up near a fire or other heat generating device (pretty much everyone else!)
I'm joining in with What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday -- and unless I start something new, this will all still be sitting here tomorrow morning.
On the left under the ribbon is a minibook that really needs to be finished up. The doily stamp was a Christmas gift from my parents. I'm making a run at doing some art journaling this year. My first page isn't particularly arty, but I used gesso and paint, so I say it counts. lol
I made a two page layout over the weekend. It doesn't have much journaling because I'm going to type up what Gabi calls "The Baby Story" and put it in a page protector in between these pages.
Here's my art journal page. Some stamping and doodling, stickers and paint. I've decided this is a fun "just for me" project and whatever I want to write, use, etc. is just fine. So sometimes I might use a quote, sometimes I'll do collage, sometimes watercolor. . . I can't really draw or paint . . . so there'll be a lot of stencil use and stamping. :)
