Greeting and felicitations and happy 2014! To start the year off on a good note, why not join in with the every Wednesday blog hop extraordinaire over at Stamping Ground? Show us what you're up to!
On my desk this morning you will see Christmas cards, my paper trimmer and scissors, and things I'm trimming from the cards. For years I kept a lot of cards (still have a lot of them, in fact), but simply can't keep so much stuff around. So, I keep bits and pieces and make a two page layout with them each year. I keep Christmas letters, pictures, loving sentiments ruthlessly cut from the cards, etc. Some of you are doubtless shuddering in horror, while others are shaking their heads because they simply toss their cards after Epiphany, perhaps. :-)
I found a Tim Holtz mini blueprints cling rubber stamp at Michael's and snapped it up with great happiness. I don't necessarily like all of the blueprints stamps (sorry, Tim), but the tiny ones will get a lot of use. I made a birthday card for my niece.
There's a discount store nearby called Tuesday Morning that I rarely stop at -- you know how those things go -- but they sometimes have good bargains on crafty stuff. I was happy to find some good American Crafts stuff for sale: the big paper pad was $6.99, the Thickers were $1.99, and the 6x6 pad was $2.99.
I was sorry to have missed the last couple of WOYWWs of 2013 -- just too swamped at work and home to join in. But I'm glad to join in on the first party of the New Year.
