Happy Wednesday to all visiting crafty folk. Join in the fun by showing your work desk, table, counter-top, etc. by linking up over at Stamping Ground, blog home of Mrs. Dunnit, our kind hostess.
The den project proceeds apace. Husband is meticulous with his painting projects (better that he is doing this than me, who would likely be more impatient and less careful.) He's stripped the wallpaper, spackled and sanded. Next will be priming, then painting with the paint, and then we'll go pick out a carpet remnant and schedule that. So, I'll be out here for a while longer! (Yes, I do realize that my sweetie is doing all the work. But he prefers to do it himself, I swear!!)
The table looks essentially the same as last week, except for the layout (can see larger below.) Over on the lower right corner of the desk is the water brush and kraft tags I picked up over the weekend. I figure the brush will be handy with the distress marker collection, but haven't tried it yet.
This was one of those I-have-cute-pictures-and-new-washi-tape layouts -- no profound story to tell, really. I tried a "confetti burst" a la May Flaum in the lower right corner.
Thanks so much for visiting! Wishing you all a happy, crafty week.
