I think this will be my first time participating in the weekly round-up of creative spaces this month. Visit Julia's blog to see what's on her desk and to find the link list of all the other folks as well.
My usual table -- and I swear I didn't lay everything out so precisely for the picture -- I just like to see what's next at a glance as a motivator. One change is that the long wooden bowl just to the right of the teal stamp tin now holds things like die cuts and chipboard decorations. I decided I wasn't using the stuff up and needed it in front of me (instead of in a drawer.)
Two cards in progress -- am sending them to family as Easter cards. Love the look of the Martha Stewart pearl paint used with the white embossed flowers. I'll definitely do that again. :)
This is a page from my version of Project Life. I wanted to do a 52 week project with absolutely no stress and this is it. Some weeks it looks a bit more pulled together than others.
This pile includes a tag and card to be mailed to a friend, some butterflies stamped on patterned paper to be cut out, and a few things I'm just playing around with.
Hope your Wednesday is happy. Thanks so much for visiting, especially as I'm sure I'll be near the end of a very long list by the time I get this posted!
~ Laura
Your Project Life page is FABULOUS! and I love that teal stamping bin, actually coveting that right now, lol And you have such a great view from your desk, I'm into birding so I really liked the feeder up close to your window! waving hi from my balcony in the hills of North Carolina :)

Love the Easter egg made from buttons, that's cute!! Did it take you ages to set them all out? And did you deliberately do random colours or was it completely thought out?? Very nice effect, anyway.. Those embossed flowers are also fab, by the way :)

Jan, thanks, I don't have the buttons glued down yet, but it *did* take quite a while to lay them out. But it will be fun to have as a decoration hopefully for years to come. I'll try to remember to post a picture next week.

Oh, and to answer your other question, I did fiddle with the arrangement a bit, in that I chose the large buttons for the outside edge and since I had fewer of some colors, like the blue, tried to distribute them throughout the piece.

Hi Laura,
Thank you for your sweet comment on my blog. Yes, crafting does help deal with difficult times. At least it does for me!
Your desk does look nice and tidy! The card looks great! I do enjoy embossing. The pearl affect is stunning. Also like the scrapbook page - that's not something that I do but am always intrigued by what others do.
That butterfly paper in the last photo is amazing. Don't forget to share what you do with it!
Hugs,
Kay

I think your blog is so cheerful and I love your desk which has so much light and bright outlook.
Your cards look like they are going to be beautiful.
