I've never participated in One-Layer Wednesday before, but this week the challenge is to find inspiration in a creation of Janelle's!
I chose this card (the blog post is here) for my inspiration piece:
Originally I tried to emulate the three color stamping, but it didn't work out well. I tried to use three different botanical stamps and they were too dissimilar to look good together. So, here is take two!
The flower stamp is Hero Arts Hydrangea (K5376) -- I adore this stamp. I stamped with Versamark and clear embossed it. The sentiment is Hero Arts All Occasion Messages (CL272) stamped with Jet Black Archival Ink. I included scoring on the card, but I accidentally scored on the wrong end of the card (I'd already folded it in half, so couldn't flip it.)
Thanks for visiting!

The scoring on top works just fine!!!! Love that hydrangea stamp and how you've let it stand on its own...lovely!

Great job, Laura. The scoring on the top totally works and I love that hydrangea stamp. It really is the perfect stand-alone type of stamp because it's so detailed and stunning in its on right. Great sentiment, wonderful card. So glad you participated, Laura! Thanks for all your love and prayers!!!

I think both cards look great. I love the look of the pocket silhouette stamp, and I really love that hydrangea!

Thanks so much for the comments, everyone! Just wanted to jump in and make it clear that the beautiful first card in the post is one that Janelle made (I *wish* it was mine!) :-)
