I looked at the trigger photo on Cath's blog on Tuesday and didn't look at it again until now. I figured I might take it more in my own direction that way, instead of feeling like I must include every element. (I can be so "left brain" at times.) What stuck in my mind was the deep turquoise color and the swirls of gold.

Supplies: Bazzill cardstock (Blue Calypso); Versamark ink; Papertrey Ink clear stamps (Tree Trimming Trio); gold embossing powder; Recollections brads

I really like how this stamp from Hero Arts, which has a distressed look to it, looks on the textured side of the American Crafts cardstock. I tried it on the smooth side, too, but I liked this better.
