I hemmed and hawed about signing up for this, even though it's free, because my daughter has her dance recital that day. But I figure I can play a little before we have to go and play some more when I get home.
I was trying to find a pretty place to take this picture -- I really don't get great light in my den much of the time. My husband's car matches the distress ink nicely. :) This is House of Three/Pink Paislee Parisian Anthology paper inked with Broken China distress ink. The daffodil is from a K & Company sticker sheet and the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics set stamped with Ranger Jet Black archival ink.
My daughter, my mother-in-law, and my father-in-law all have May birthdays. The fairy card is for my daughter (not surprisingly.)
Papers are Graphic45 "Once Upon a Springtime," the tag was punched with a Marcy Uchida punch, the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Basics set, and the ink is Versamagic chalk ink.
Paper and die cuts are from the K & Company Brenda Walton Flora & Fauna line. I used a Prima stamp to stamp the script in the background with Ranger Distress Ink in Antique Linen; sentiment stamped with another PTI stamp and Forest Moss distress ink.
More of the K & Company line here (paper, die cut, flower embellishment). Stamped the background with another Prima stamp and Pumice Stone distress ink; sentiment stamped with another PTI stamp and Forest Moss distress ink.
These are the supplies and tools I added to my stash in January of this year. I was lucky enough to be the winner of a Pink Paislee/House of Three prize package, which represents at least half of what you see above. The papers are absolutely delectable.
This last one is in progress -- no idea what's next. I did some hand lettering, which is not currently a strength of mine, and decided I'd paint over it. I love this color of paint! Maybe this will encourage me to use it on a layout soon.
