Winter Sleep

I didn't cut down the hollyhock stems either. . . . last photo in this series. (Doesn't the bottommost right dessicated blossom look like a squirrel or a lizard?)

A lizard or a squirrel, yes, or maybe even a chipmunk or other rodent...or some kind of fantastical rodent with webbed feet...
