Is it made of paper? Then I probably love it: books, scrapbook paper, photos. . . I am a happy enthusiast with my creative pursuits. In 2009 I fell in love with paper crafting -- making cards and scrapbook pages. I'd dabbled a bit before -- I made a scrapbook as a retirement gift for a friend and started a waiting-for-baby scrapbook (that's still not quite finished (even though said baby is in kindergarten). I think making cards got me interested again because they're smaller and can be finished more quickly. So, I'm happily gathering supplies, working on projects, and surfing the amazing array of blogs and Flickr galleries looking at the gorgeous things other folks have made.

I'm also really fond of digital photography. My first digital camera was a Kodak DC4800 3.1 megapixel camera which I had a lot of fun with. In 2008 I upgraded to a Canon PowerShot A590IS -- more megapixels, image stabilization, more shooting modes.

Given the name of this blog, I'd be remiss not to affirm my love for books and reading. I'm not blogging about that as much -- I usually post a note to Twitter when I finish something (I'm "Bookworm" over there as well.)
